An unusual item, a handheld electric steam vaporizer made by F.C. Hunt Manufacturing Company. After working for hours in the mines, miners would use this vaporizer for relief from breathing problems.

Would be a neat industrial or Americana display item!

The glass is cobalt blue and in good condition, no chips, cracks or damage that I can find.

The metal mouthpiece reads “HUNT PAT 2542529 CARLSTADT NJ”.

Lots of wear/tarnish and rust on the metal consistent with age and use.
