This console has the following modifications installed:

Picoboot Mod – A Raspberry Pi Pico is pre-flashed with Picoboot, soldered, wrapped, and installed into the console, allowing it to boot directly into Swiss or from the optical drive at power on. An SD2SP2 is necessary to store Swiss and your games library.

3.5mm Gold-Plated Audio Jack – Added to the rear I/O of the console, allowing for external audio, headphones, or Bluetooth transmitters.

Hard Region Switch – Changes the console region from NTSC-J to NTSC-U. Changes memory card recognition from NTSC-J to NTSC-U. Changes system text from Japanese to English.

Battery Holder Mod – Replaceable battery holder and new CR2032 are added to the controller port PCB, assuring another 20 years of life for the system clock battery.

Custom BLUE LEDs – We replace your factory power LED. We also add LEDs to the wells of your controller port PCB, illuminating them.

Backlit LED Fan Upgrade – Replaces the OEM GameCube fan with a German made Noiseblocker BlackSilent 14dB, 50mm upgrade. A glow-in-the-dark 3D printed bracket is made, and a wiring adapter is created. LEDs are installed to illuminate the fan assembly from within the console during power on.

Recapped Optical Drive – Sometimes the optical drive can fail, causing the console to stop reading disc media. Replacing the capacitors on the optical drive PCB fixes this problem and ensures another few decades of use before requiring another service.
