This is the sale of my van (reg is YP10HCC) that I converted myself with comfort and ease of use in mind. It has almost a full years MOT, recently had a major service and runs very well. I’ve owned it for just under five years and it’s been more reliable than anything else I’ve ever had.

I am looking for a quick sale so am open to offers, will accept a wide variety of part exchanges so long as there is still money my way so please ask.

It has some light damage to the bonnet and one of the back doors (included in the pics) but neither effect the structure or capability of the van. Besides that the body and roof rack are in decent condition for the age. Underneath is in great condition and mechanically is perfect. The front seats are okay too, some wear on the base of the drivers side but that’s about it.

It has one window on the back (I do have the other and it’s fitting kit that I’ll include) as the ladder for the roof rack is on the other door. On the roof rack I’ve fitted a ‘star gazing terrace’ that probably could do with a sand and varnish, but it makes for a good space to sit. Up there is also a 320w solar panel that charges two 110ah lead acid batteries. The solar, batteries, fuses, split charge system, controller and inverter etc were fitted with help from an electrician so it’s all safe. The only thing I have hard wired into the controller are led lights with a colour and brightness controller, so there is still room for 2 usbs and with help from the inverter a 3 pin house socket for anything suitable.

The van is fully insulated with silver backed camper insulation. It’s also a oundproofed with dodo matt and sound deadening sheets (I do still have a small amount left I can give with the van) which makes it the perfect temp almost all year round. I’ve slept in it during heatwaves and snow storms and it’s always cosy and quiet.

The bed is also storage and can be folded away into several sections to have a seating area and will fit a bike down the centee. I’ve built the bed and cabinets sturdy so you can rest easy for chucking a couple hundred kilos of gear in while travelling. The mattress is honestly nicer than I have in my house, the foam is thick and firm enough to lie stretched out comfortably for a couple of people.

The passenger seats can rotate 180 to be accessible from the back. I’ve put the California style foam on the doors to stop them sounding like rattly van doors when they close.

There is a compostable toilet (never been used) that I built as an emergency for snow storms that never came. This and everything else can easily be removed as they’re basically ply built modules.

This is a T28 so I made sure to weigh it while building it and it’s way below payload capacity with myself, a full tank and all camping gear in it.

The van has full history (a lot of vw) including a gearbox rebuild a few years ago by Volkswagen. It’s never failed me since, mechanically this van is absolutely perfect. It’s on 196ish-k miles and will go up as is in light use.

I put 5 new Michelin cross climate tyres on last year to take me round the NC500 and they are awesome for wet grass etc. This van has been all over the UK and has never given me a warning light. Honestly can’t stress how solid this thing is. On a full tank it’ll do anywhere between 450-550 miles.

I’ll also include the inflatable vango awning and a campingaz double stove and gas bottle.

Any questions please ask, any offers please message.

Thanks!
