Very unique wooden candy box with round-headed nails that once contained Fry's Nut Milk Chocolates.

Most likely from the early 1900s.

Wood appears to be pine.

Colors are so vibrant after over 115 years!

Original, brown paper lining that protected the candies is still attached

Made in London England

This antique box is in overall fair to good condition:

Has some normal staining from age & some pencil writing on the lid/cover as well as some on the inside’s white paper (math problem?).

2 small holes shown are from where nails originally sealed the box closed when new (holes caused by prying open the box to consume the candies).

There is a small gash in one of the corners (last pic).

One corner of the brown paper is not attached, but still present.

Box opens and closes very nicely as it is still strongly attached at the hinge point.

Measures 12.75” x 8.75” x 1.75”

Exact Measurements shown in pics

Excellent piece to add to any antique candy box or advertisement collection!
