The net is white and although it forms a cube when you hang it, it actually has 5 loops on it (one for each top corner, plus a bonus one on one side). The loops are sturdy but not very long, so for me to hang this in my room I had to invest in some strong plastic rope, tie that to the ceiling and then thread it through the loops to get my net at the right level. It's important that you don't have the net too high (as this would have been had I hung it directly from the ceiling) as it needs to be long enough either to touch the floor or, as is my preference, to be tucked in. While I hung my net from the ceiling, you can also attach them to windows or to a bed frame.
