The pair of WW1 medals are properly named to Pte Duncan Roy (31369) of the Kings Own Scottish Borderers.
Private Roy was born and lived in Glasgow with the medals being sent to his address in Aitkenhead Road. He served in France from 12th December 1915 until 1st July 1918, when he was discharged ill at the age of 29.
He was awarded the Silver War Badge number 418929 which has been separated from this package.
