This stunning Antique Belle Epoque Diamond Necklace is a true work of art, featuring a Scrolled shape and open work charm with Multiple 0.50ct Diamond in a dropper.
This was most likely adapted from a beautiful fine Ladies Bridal Headpeice Crafted from 12ct yellow gold, with the diamonds set in a silver overlay, this necklace exudes old-world charm and glamour.
The centerpiece of the necklace is the stunning motif, Encrusted with diamonds beneath is an open work, laurel leaf design also Encrusted with diamonds.
The charm is a dazzling array of diamonds of varying sizes ranging from the largest of 0.50ct, creating a beautiful and eye-catching sparkle that is sure to turn heads. 33 diamonds in total.
The diamonds are stunning and very high quality old cut with very good Colourless quality and clean and SI1 clarity assessed.
Full of movement and sparkle this necklace offers a touch of sophistication and classic elegance to the piece.
The pendant is on the original chain, with the toggle and loop style closure in good order and ornately bevelled and decorative.
The piece weighs a total of a very weighty 11.4g The chain is 17 - 18 inches., 44cm There are 33 diamonds, varying in size.
The largest central diamond is approx 0.50ct. Assessed by European Diamond Reports as Natural, Old Cut Diamond, 2.80ct.
12ct Gold. Belle Epoque Style. The pendant Charm is 4.8cm long Vintage, Antique and charming.
A very rare thing indeed. The piece is not stamped but assessed and tested Xrf as 12ct and Diamonds are Silver set. The necklace chain is unmarked but tests as 12ct gold.
