Santas Express is a 2002, L/E Steiff Christmas piece, consisting of a Mohair Santa Teddy Bear, wooden carriage and two Mohair Horses. The adorable Teddy Santa is 13cm tall, fully jointed and sewn from mohair. He wears a red cotton velvet Santa outfit, complete with mohair beard. His historically designed Beechwood carriage, features vintage Steiff advertising motifs from 1910. Originally the item came with a handful of 'presents' and santas present sack. Unfortunately, the present sack and all but 1 of the presents are missing. The beautifully detailed wheeled horses, are sewn from mohair with handmade leather harnesses. Together it is approximately 50cm long.

This enchanting family heirloom is a Limited Edition of 2,002 pieces. There is no box or certificate.
