What is a film cell?

A film cell is a small, transparent piece of film containing a single frame of a motion picture. These cells are often used in the production of movies as well as in promotional materials. They are also collected by enthusiasts as memorabilia. Each cell represents a single moment in the film and can vary in size and quality depending on the source material. Film cells offer exquisite fragments of cinematic history, capturing the essence of unforgettable moments on the silver screen. Are film cells rare?

The rarity of our film cells isn't solely attributed to the proliferation of digital reels, but rather to the distinctive individual cells themselves, researched and personally handpicked by myself, mostly at auctions. The most I will have in my collection is 5 from a particular scene.

There is a chance with some if its a fast moving scene that there will be a slight variation but please check the pictures as all/any variations will always be shown there) - all this means is that in some for example the face maybe slightly turned or lighting will be slightly different.

When creating the products I focus on 2 areas:

1. Presentation - Captured in a stylish, sleek acrylic case which beautifully presents the movie image and film cell which perfectly allows light to hit the back which illuminates and reveals the unique film cell.

2. The film cell itself - These cells are from iconic or unique scenes, action scenes or great stills of the character etc. A close up picture of the film cell will always be shown that you receive so please always check that it is the one you want.

It is recommended that you don't pull apart the magnetic pieces, this is to ensure film cell and all parts remain in place.

As with the majority of film cells expect there to be some light scratches, this shouldn't effect the image when held up properly against the light. If you want exact confirmation send me a message and I will send you a picture of the exact film cell you will receive held up against the light.
