Description: Here are a famous highly stylized pair of art deco bookends made by the Connecticut Foundry Company in 1929.  The actual artist who designed these is still not known, but these are among the best of the era.  And certainly the most highly styled art deco bookends produced by that firm.  They are fully marked on the backs with the logo and initials of the Connecticut Foundry Company, dated and titled.  They are quite heavy weighing in at 6 pounds for the pair. They measure 6” x 5 ½” x 2” They do show some signs of age so please look at pic closely
