The buckle is beautifully made with heavy Sterling Silver. The Cherub and Angel figures have wonderful three dimensional design. They frolic with their wings through the open work foliate acanthus motifs. ​The very unusual and dramatic buckle dates to the Victorian - Art Nouveau - Belle Epoque period, circa 1850-1890. The buckle is 4 5/8 inches (12 cm) wide by 4 inches (10.5cm) tall. The buckle has extensive hallmarks with a maker's mark of W.S. We list our handling time as 15 days in case we are traveling.
