Vintage Skooter Dolls were introduced in 1965 as Skipper's same size friend.  Both Skooter and Skipper dolls have the same body with different heads and share all of the same clothing.  Cute is the word most often used to describe Skooter - think of the adorable "girl next door" with pigtails and freckles.

So Cute..this is vintage Skooter, Skipper's friend, still mint in her original box. Never been played with still in her original outfit of a two piece knit swimsuit with red and white striped top and red bottoms with white elastic belt and gold buckle and red flat shoes. She has the super desirable pale blonde hair with original red hair bows.  She also has her gold wire stand.  She is one of the earlier ones produced with the tanner skin color.  
 
Although Skooter is mint, her box is not - it has some splits - bottom has splits that have been taped - has splits in the corners at the top and some tape residue on the sides.

Skooter would be wonderful addition to your vintage collection.​

Photos give the truest depiction of item. I always keep an eye out for imperfections, wear, or damage to articles and fully describe them, but this does not mean I will not miss things from time to time.

Shipping

SHIPPING: I use The United States Postal Service the majority of the time.  I will be happy to combine shipping on multiple wins. I use the shipping calculator or flat rate shipping for all auctions. Please consider the quote in overall purchase price before placing your bid. I use USPS Priority Mail services, UPS Ground for larger items, etc. to get the best quality shipping price for the buyer. Shipping can be upgraded to Express Shipping but a charge will apply for that service.  Please let me know at auction end if you would like to upgrade shipping.

I pack VERY WELL to insure that your item arrives safely ~ I use tissue paper, bubble wrap and shredded paper so that there is no movement in shipping.  I know that this makes the box a little heavier to ship which increases shipping costs by a small amount but it is worth it to have the item arrive without breaking.  If it is a non-breakable item I can usually ship for a bit less and skip the shredded paper and just used newspaper.
