This is a very rare antique paper “beach ball” style lantern for Ulysses S. Grants political campaign. It’s a very unusual piece that has survived in decent condition. There are some rips and tears as would be expected but still a very rare and desirable piece. Better yet, the original metal frame work that would have gone inside this piece is included!
