Gold Tone EBT Electric Banjo

Excellent quality, telecaster shaped solid body electric banjo with lovely flamed maple finish capable of both natural acoustic banjo tones and more electric sounds. Truly a lovely banjocaster in excellent condition with very few minor marks that I’ve tried to capture on the pics, mainly finger marks on the skin. Not heavily used, the protective plastic is only just peeling off the cover behind the pickup selector (see pics). Stacked humbucker at neck position and SMP humbucker under skin = zero hum and good output.

I used this for larger, louder gigs that had my acoustic banjo howling with feedback and sound engineers helpless to prevent it. The joy of amplified banjos! The Gold Tone banjocaster worked a treat, zero feedback, authentic sound and many amazed comments from people who couldn’t believe what they were seeing. It's a real eye catcher.

In my view suited more for bluegrass style picking than clawhammer styles it's easy to pick those tricky up the neck tunes and a real pleasure to play.

I got this new from the highly respected Andy Perkins at AndyBanjo.com for about £800, it’s setup nicely and I had the 5^th string capo fitted from new by Andy to make playing in multiple keys easier. Comes with Gold Tone hard case and has just been restrung ready to sell. I'll be sorry to see this beauty go but I'm not playing it and someone should get the benefit. Collection only on this sorry, I've no confidence in carriers.
