Vintage 1964 Mattel Barbie RED RIDING HOOD and the WOLF #0880
From the Little Theater Series.
Auction includes the following:
Blue cotton dress with white dots and white crochet trim
Black felt corset with yellow ties
Red hooded cape
Knee-hi white socks
Black vinyl shoes
An open straw basket with a red & white unhemmed checked liner
Six wax rolls (painted red)
White with pink dot granny cap with lace edging
Gray felt wolf mask
Red and black hounds tooth checked hunter's cap
Color theater program.
Items feel unplayed with. Dress is crisp with both snaps attached. Tag is attached to red cape. Elastic on granny cap is likely dry, so I didn't pull on it. Program has a little wrinkling. Straw basket has a soil line, as shown in pictures. Wax rolls are nice, with no cracks. Wolf mask is very nice, with no issues noted.
I try to point out any obvious concerns with my vintage items, but I may not always catch things you may see. That's why I take the best close-up pictures I can. The items I am currently selling, have been purchased from either estates or auctions. Most likely, they have been stored in basements or attics. Since some are old, they will not be perfect, unless stated. If needed, I have cleaned the item as best as I can. I don't know the history of the items, but I will give all the information I can.
