In May of 1986, this issue, along with several other titles was taken to a Portland Oregon Comic-Con that Dave Stevens attended where I personally had it signed by him.
This rare, signed Dave Stevens Issue, has an awesome gem of a cover and is a collectable tribute to the artist.
The VSP (Verified Signature Program) authenticated signature has been encapsulated with the CBCS’s distinctive yellow label, the signature and the "authentication" cannot be separated.
Unlike Certificates of Authentication, (COA's), that are at risk of being transferred to another item, the VSP offers the security that the authenticated signature that is on the label is forever tied to the signature on the item.
