I am selling a massive live edge Wintergreen Sweet Birch (Black Birch) burl. Burl was harvested 4-12-2024 in Patrick County, Virginia on private property. The burl measures 18" high, 13" wide and 11" deep. The circumference at widest point is 39-1/2". The weight of the burl one day after cutting was 46-1/2 pounds.

Sweet Birch burls are extremely uncommon. This one appears to have extremely unique character.

Depending on when you purchase, you may still smell the wintergreen from the fresh cut. When I cut the burl, it had an overwhelming wintergreen scent with a sweet tasting sap.
