Here is a great self-referencing (aka Meta) Spirit tabloid section from November 6, 1949. It starts out with someone finding a Spirit comic in the trash can, and you can read into that as you like.
These tabloid sections has the famous PS strip at the bottom. No, not the one from PS Magazine, but a real PS, as in postscript. None of these have ever been reprints.
This is a nice section, no rips, tears or bad folds..
