Vintage 1947 Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen 50th Anniversary Brass Letter Opener. My great uncle Earl W Jimerson, International President of the Union from 1942 until his death in October 1957 used this opener apparently extensively as it shows a lot of patina. A truly unique Letter opener with provenance. It measures 7 7/8 x 7/8 inches.
