Beautiful 1972 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 1501 in a 34mm stainless steel case and blue "tapestry" dial, featuring the Rolex calibre 1570 automatic movement. This watch has been tested in excellent working order and includes the outer box, inner box, booklet and folder.
The blue "tapestry" dial is bright and sharp clean script and indices. The dial has light edge wear at the 6 o'clock position (see photos).
Crystal is clear and free of scratches or edge-chips.
The Engine-Turned bezel is sharp with crisp lines and clear markers.
The case is in excellent original condition with faint marks consistent with age, but no significant scratches, dents, or mars. The lug holes are crisp and round (not oval).
Includes a new, blue, two-piece leather strap with stainless steel buckle.
