The DICK TRACY comic strip, was created by Chester Gould (1900-1985).  

The strip has been in print since October 4, 1931.  Others contributing to the

art of this strip include Dick Moores, Russell Stamm, Jack Ryan, Coleman Anderson,

 Al Valanis, Dick Lochner, Rick Fletcher, Ray Gould, Jim Brozman and Joe Staton.

Script writers have included Max Allan Collins, Max Killian, 

Dick Locher and Mike Curtis.
