Dulcie Long Pula was taught to paint by her mother Jeannie Petyarre, Her works are beautiful,with intricate dotting, which takes alot of time and patience and the end result having a lovely flowing memorising movement to it.
Dulcie continues the strong painting tradition of her extended family, these include Emily Kane Kngwarreye, Gloria and Kathleen Petyarre, Greeny Pervis Petyarre and the Pwerle sisters, Minnie, Galya and Molly.
