I bought this van approximately 12 months ago direct from the Ministry of Defence. It came with no registration plates so it had to be re registered with the DVLA. Having previously been an owner of a Campervan conversion company,  I was missing having a campervan in my life so decided to build one for myself.

The van has covered just over 75k miles and was MOT'd at the end of last October. It originally failed for some minor defects that you can see if you check the MOT history on the DVLA page. However, I got the garage to fix everything including any advisories, so now it has a completely clean certificate valid until October 23rd 2024. The van has covered around 1000 miles since MOT. It has never been used as a Campervan and has only been driven locally to stop things from seizing up.

Reason For Sale

I am regrettably selling this van without having ever had the chance to use her. New work commitments along with the arrival of my first child, simply mean I wont have time to put her to good use. I hope someone gets the chance to take her on the adventures she deserves!

The Conversion

The van has been designed for simplicity and ease of use.

The Bed

A fixed standard size double bed that has been shortened by approx 10cm to allow for taller storage beneath, that is be suitable for most bikes, outdoor gear etc...

Bench Seating

The bench seating area is 1200mm wide and topped with lift up, bi-fold, piano hinged oak seating, whilst the 'seat back', folds down to allow easy access to the boot/ under bed storage area.

Gas

The gas bottle (campinggaz 907) which fuels the cooker, is secured in a metal gas locker and vented through the floor. It neatly secured within the bench seating.

Heating

Heating to the van is supplied via a 5KW diesel heater (housed within bench seating with ducting to main cabin) which features its own 10L dedicated auxiliary tank (stored in garage) filled  conveniently from outside the van. The controller for the heater which allows you to set temperature, fan speed and timers amongst other things is located in the kitchen.

Water

Fresh water is supplied to the kitchen via a Sureflo 12V pump and stored in 70L Fiamma water tank, both of which are stored within the bench seating. The water tank is filled from a lockable external port on the side of the van.

The Kitchen

The van features a Charcoal Black Howdens Fairford Kitchen. The cupboard base unit is 100cm wide and the 4 drawer unit is 40cm wide.
