An 18th century oak dresser base, this is a fabulous piece of Georgian furniture. Measuring 2 metres in width, it will make a superb server or console table and has generous storage with its three deep drawers. It has a two planked top with a grooved moulding to the edge and an attractively shaped apron, standing on square tapering legs, all with a lovely patina and deep colour which has been undisturbed. The brass plates have been replaced at some stage and are very much in keeping with the piece. It will continue to provide both functionality and style 250 years into its life; a true antique which will look wonderful in any home.

In good age related condition, with a wonderful patina, a few marks commensurate with age, historic signs of woodworm to the back of one drawer which is inactive and has been treated. A lovely little burr like knot hole on the top back right corner of the piece. No key, lock plates are present.
