There is little doubt this lot is for a SPECIALIST GB COLLECTOR who would really appreciate the care with which these (to me, notoriously hard to identify) stamps have been treated.

I am unable to confirm the details myself which is why I offer them to proper experts for verification and potential future profit.

They comprise a truly beautiful collection of the 10/- and £1 Castle stamps from 1958 and 1959.

You will see that all sorts of flaws have been identified by the previous owner and those details need to be appreciated by a fellow enthusiast.

I have copied the rather general listing from a 2023 Stanley Gibbons catalogue as a guide to their price but more specialist literature might be needed to ascertain the actual value of some of these stamps. The total value might well be north of £2000, but I’ll let the specialists among you fight it out as I’m only asking for bids above $199.
