Asahi Pentax K1000 SLR Film Camera With Pentax-M SMC 1:2 50mm Lens & Cap

Fully working camera with lens. The interchangeable lens has some minor cosmetic separation to one edge but otherwise is in very good working condition with no visible fungus/mould. Original 1970s/80s 35mm film SLR camera. Camera requires one LR44 battery for light meter operation only.  Film & battery are not included.

The camera takes any Pentax PK bayonet mount lens.

Tested working 35mm film camera. All dials & switches working including speed/aperture settings, autofocus, shutter,  film load, unload, rewind, frame counter etc all working. All shutter speeds appear to work but speed accuracy has not been checked. Excellent clean mirror box & film compartment. Foam seals may need replacing for optimal performance. No issues found with camera body operation.

Film & battery are not included.

Lens in good overall cosmetic condition with some minor 'separation' to edge of front element (see photo). Lens focus ring working and aperture control a little stiff but also working.

Note: this is a vintage camera around 50 years of age & although appearing to be in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition there may be minor issues we have not covered which are inherent to the camera make, model &/or age. We have attempted to test operation as thoroughly as possible and to highlight any faults but some aspects may be undescribed and there may be issues unnoticed - such as condition of unseen or untested components & functions, shutter timing accuracy & final image quality on film etc.
