Finished in the correct colour scheme complimented with aged blue leather interior. This the 220 six cylinder overhead cam engine example is very usable and at the same time presenting well in paintwork and engine along with the manual gear box all nice and simple. Stack head lights give it that opulent 60s look that we love so much, registered new in the UK during March 1963. Since then the Mercedes has covered 96000 miles. Recent work carried out includes a full service including oil filter, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, condenser. The same itemised invoice details a comprehensive brake overhaul including a refurbished brake servo unit. There has also been a new clutch, battery, and the sub frame mounts and all four jacking points underneath have recently been done. The car presents very well especially bearing in mind its original interior and so displays some patina. MOT certificates from 2015, 2016 and 2018, and assorted 21st century invoices. Also a full service was carried out at 92,121 miles, at a cost of £1590.48. In addition there is the owners handbook and a period marketing brochure.
