Here is a gorgeous, Singer hand crank sewing machine model 127 vibrating shuttle , dated 1915 by serial number G4045514 with the beautiful Sphinx decoration scheme .  This machine sits on a homemade base made from antique oak wood and has lovely tiger oak grain and color.

This is a treadle head retrofitted to hand crank with a brand new smooth running hand crank device. Singer made these beautiful model 127s with a special threaded hole in the back to accomodate a hand crank if the owner wished to do so.

This machine works beautifully as a hand crank and runs and sews as smooth as the day it was made.

We threaded it up and it sewed perfect stitches top and bottom as seen in my photos.

We tested the bobbin winder, stitch length, tensioner all in perfect operation!

Condition is excellent for a 109 year old machine, runs beautifully, cranks without effort and sews a great stitch. Sphinx decals are in very nice condition, bright and vivid with a couple of wear spots  as seen in the photos. Black lacquer paint in excellent shiny condition with some typical light wear on the bed.

Comes ready to sew with the bullet shuttle and 2 barbell bobbins.
