Selling an antique "Star Egg & Tray Manufacturing Company" wooden egg carrier tray that holds 1 dozen eggs but comes with 5 solid wood eggs and 3 "hatched"  eggs and 1 old metal flat hatched chick figure.  The open hatched eggs might be real eggs that were lined inside with some ceramic material - not sure.  The wood egg tray is old - 1910 era and the "Star Egg" stamping is fairly clear on one side and not visible on the opposite side.  The corners are solid and the bottom insert with the 12 holes is included.  It measures 8-1/2" x 6-3/8" and is 2-5/8" tall not counting the metal handle.    It was originally found as a wall mount at an estate sale with the metal chick figure sitting upright and the eggs stacked behind in the crate.  Very nice primitive.  Free standard shipping in the USA.
