Attractive French Empire-style porcelain vase with reserved decoration on a gold background and handles with mascarons. Please refer to photographs and condition report below.
CONDITION:

Vase presents with areas of loss to gold, tiny black speck in mouth and several on the fillet (between the base and body) and wear commensurate with age. The vase has been pre-drilled at some point (not recently) for conversation to a lamp and a metal stopper inserted to fill the hole. 2 small slits/cuts visible on base (please refer to photographs). I am assuming this was done to accommodate wiring at some point. Cuts are incomplete although they extend slightly into the base. Overall, the vase displays well, as depicted.
