Up for sale is a beautiful Sony DVP-CX777ES 400 Disc Mega Changer. This unit is from the original owner who used it in his home theater up until about 6 years ago when it stopped working. It has always been in a climate controlled environment and is in EXCELLENT condition. The only signs of wear on the unit are some very small smudges on the top of the unit. I personally serviced the unit. As is true with most of these units the belts had failed. New belts were installed, the mechanicals were lubricated, the optics cleaned and the exterior of the unit cleaned and sanitized. All of the functions were tested and are working perfectly. In addition I have tested DVDs, CDs and multichannel DTS audio discs in the unit. PLEASE NOTE - I only have one multilayer SACD and it defaulted to CD mode. These units are know to have difficulty with multilayer SACD (please Google for more information) so if you are planning to use this unit with multilayer SACDs please be aware of this issue.
