Vintage Duncan Ceramic King & Queen Chess Pieces Medieval Faces Royalty Set of 2
Pretty Vintage Duncan Ceramic King & Queen Chess Pieces with Medieval Faces. This Duncan chess sets an pieces were sold as molds and were popular to finish in ceramic classes or at home from the 1950's -1970's. These are Medieval style with the king being a cream color and he queen being a brown color. They have a thick gloss glaze on them and thinking these were finished professionally. Bottoms of both pieces are covered in felt to prevent scratches.
The King measures 8" high x 2 5/8" wide. The Queen measures 7" high x 2 5/8" wide and both are in good pre-owned condition free of any chips, cracks or crazing in the glaze. A beautiful set perfect to put on display, especially in an office, game room or study.
Vintage and antique items have been loved and used by the previous owner so please expect for there to be some imperfections. If there are any major imperfections such as age cracks, rust, chips, etc I will do my best to list them. I will combine shipping if you buy multiple items when I can.
