Antique Yale 025-1/2 offset gear driven safe and vault lock. Patent Date Nov 25th 1905 . Decorated brass case with brass bolt and 4 hand change wheels. LOBC cover. (locked on back cover)  The decoration is impeccable. Just look at those swirls on the dial drive cam. This is a extremely rare find. Used on banker safes, money safes and bank vault doors. Mount this and add it to your collection and it will be a definite conversation starter. While the dial and ring are not original they are exactly like many I've seen used with this lock in the field. Original lock mounting screws, Dial spindle lock nut, dial ring screws(not original) and spline key are included. A small amount of staining but that won't take away from the beauty of the unbelievable piece of safe and vault history.  A very small hole in the cover drilled sometime in the past to remove the LOBC cover. See picture.
LOBC clips on cover are not functional. Not sure how they became twisted but must have happened sometime in the past. Other than that this is a fantastic addition to any lock collection. You just don't see these anymore unless they are in a collection. Don't pass this up!!!!!
