Vehicle Details

This auction is for a very solid 1959 El Camino project, the truck has a rebuilt Chevy 350 and a rebuilt TH 350 transmission, but is not presently running. This is an unfinished project that is a good candidate for complete restoration. The dash is untouched and even has the original radio. It has a solid body with a few dents, nothing major, the floors are in excellent rust free condition. All of the molding/ trim pieces are on the truck some have some small ding, but all in useable condition, the truck is very complete, all the dash wiring is intact and I have the engine compartment wiring harness. There are two spots of rust that will need repair and I have provided photos of those, behind the passengers side rear tire underneath and a strip a couple inches wide in the bed floor just in back of the cab 6 inches or so. The remainder of the bed floor is solid. I can store the truck for awhile after payment is receiver if time is needed to pick it up, or I can help a shipper load it.the frame has been cleaned by a previous owner and painted black and is in good condition. The windshield and rear window are in good condition, both side windows are cracked, but they are flat glass,s o should be easy to replace. The truck has a front disc brake conversion and rebuilt front suspension. The truck has black California plates with the last tag being for 1981.missing is the seat and radiator.
