This vintage set of Parker Brothers Cabbage Patch playing cards and ceramic mug is a collector's dream.

For the playing cards: At one time, these were purchased at a little local market that would hand mark all their merchandise - like an overstock place, as noted on the exterior of the box. On the cover it states: Make new friends; Three games in one. 36 cards. I believe these would have been in ‘Grandma’s Box’ for our niece when she would visit. They’ve been in storage awhile!

For the Mug: my guess Grandma had this set aside for those special visits too. The interior bottom does show spoon stirring marks. The bottom of the mug shows wear and very old if not from the manufacturer imperfections as noted in photos.
