Paranormal Group, 13th Floor Haunted Media (YouTube), has recently performed spirt box sections with the Balsley House relics and have had significant interaction and responses. Relics seem to be very active.

The Balsley farmhouse, known as one of the most haunt locations in central Florida. Built in 1873 by John and Annie Balsley. In 1878, John Balsley received a grant of 142 acres for land issued by the state of Florida. Life was seemingly good for the Balsleys as he and his wife Annie became very wealthy through their citrus crop fortune.

Despite the fortune and success they acquired, on September 27, 1893 Annie went upstairs to the bedroom while her husband John was sleeping and shot him in the head. She shot herself a day later, downstairs by the fireplace, leaving behind a suicide note attached to a door. The note simply read “I can’t stand anything more”.

Horror seemed to follow the Balsleys as in 1910, Frank, Annie and John’s son, committed suicide by cutting his own throat.

The house would have many residents over its 150 years existence, all seemingly having similar problems once residing in the house.

A Reporter for the Sanford Harold, while doing a story, captured a ghostly apparition in farmhouse window, you can see in the pictures provided.

Eventually the local church took over the property, even going as far as performing exorcisms on the house, to no prevail, the house was taken down in 2021

Portions of the house were saved and can be seen at the Museum of Seminole County History, in Florida
