Your source for vintage Ruth Gibbs dolls

Very large and very pretty, 12 inch tall, signed: RUTH GIBBS, (in block letters on the back of her shoulders, under the glaze) Godey's Ladies, Little Women, MRS. MARCH, china shoulderhead doll by Ruth Gibbs, Flemington, N.J., circa 1940s, and designed by Herbert Johnson. Still contained in her original labeled box with original clothing. She has a wonderful painted gold necklace, matching bracelet and gold heeled shoes! Her lovely, molded features include large, blue painted eyes, long eyelashes, rosy cheeks, heart-shaped mouth and pretty blonde, curly, painted hair. What a terrific member of this famous classic family of "Little Women" dolls produced by an American manufacturer during the World War II era.  She has no damages, no repairs, no holes or tears or fading and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.

Be sure to see our other Ruth Gibbs china dolls listed this week as shown in last photos not included and each listed separately.
