Sandhills 230 (refer to map in the pictures provided for the location) is available
to rent as a Butlins holiday break from March to November each
year. It is a very short walk away from the main Butlins resort (7
minutes).
Each
advertised listing comes with 4 entertainment passes into the main Butlins
resort (2 adults and 2 children). Additional passes can be purchased upon
request.

3 night breaks run from Friday
to Monday. 4 night breaks run from
Monday to Friday. 7 night breaks run
from Friday to Friday.
The check-in time is from 4.00
pm onward and the check-out time is strictly 11 am.
Breaks for Big Weekends (music
events) are strictly adults only 18+.
Small pets may be permitted but
must be declared when booking for insurance purposes. We reserve the right to refuse admission for certain
pets. Please ask before booking.

Various other activities and services are available for a cost,
including the spa and outdoor climbing and sporting activities.

Quick and easy access to the local flagship beach via Butlins.

walk away and Skegness itself just a 10-minute drive or under an hour’s walk
from Butlins.
All the information you need to
know regarding the caravan itself and the Sandhills 230 plot is as follows…
·
The caravan is a modern 2019
Kensington Regal, 3 bedrooms, 8 berth static caravan 39 ft x 13 ft with a gated
veranda. It is a central living room style, ie. has a double bedroom with
ensuite bathroom with a toilet, basin, and large shower at one end of the
caravan, 2 further twin bedrooms at the opposite end, each with 2 single beds.
There is a separate shower room and separate toilet with basin next to the twin
bedrooms.

In the centre of the caravan
is the living room with fully kitted out kitchen which has 2 x bar
stools/breakfast area plus a separate dining area. The living room has a
large modern sofa with footstool and coffee table. The living room sofa pulls
out into a double bed. The kitchen has a gas cooker with oven and grill
and 4 gas rings. There is a filter coffee machine (filter paper size 100)
and a small cafetiere for fresh coffee. There is a large, fitted fridge
freezer and a dishwasher (both full sized). In the living room, there is
a large flat screen TV with FreeView and there is a small flat screen TV with
DVD player in the main double bedroom.

The caravan is fully
centrally heated with completely new central heating (boiler and radiators) and
smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
·
It is fully kitted out with
everything you need from crockery, cutlery, cleaning materials, iron and
ironing board, duvets, and pillows. All you need is to bring is all of
your own linen (duvet covers, pillow covers, sheets and towels, including tea
towels).
·
This caravan is quite unique
compared to your typical holiday park static caravan both in style (being very
homely and also having the main bedroom at the other end of the van away from
the other bedrooms for maximum privacy) and where it is situated, as it is
quite private due to a hedged grassed area next to the caravan.
·
7 minutes’ walk to the main
resort (there is a walking shortcut from the caravan to the main Butlins
resort).
·
Parking space for 2 cars next
to the caravan and availability for additional parking very close by.
·
Pitch is surrounded by a
grassed area for children to play and hedges for extra privacy.
·

The small print…
·
The list price includes up to 4 entertainment passes (2 adult
and 2 children) to the main Butlins Resort, including the Big Weekends (age 18
and above). Additional passes can be purchased, however, no more than 8
people in total can stay in the caravan and all must be named on the booking
form. Infants under 2 years old do not require an entertainment pass.

Absolutely no smoking is allowed anywhere in the caravan.
Well behaved pets are most welcome, but they all must be declared, so
please ask when booking. Any soilage or damage to the caravan from pets
will be deducted from your security deposit.
·
A security bond of £100 (£200 for Big Weekends and guests with
pets) will be required prior to holiday commencement. This will be fully
refunded on the condition the caravan and contents are not damaged or soiled
and there are no missing items.
·
The security deposit will be
returned to you via PayPal or direct bank transfer within 5 working days of the
end of your holiday. Any breakages, missing items, damage, or soiling
will have to be taken from the security deposit. The cleaners will
confirm all has been left intact after you leave, take an inventory, and take
photographs of any damage. Accidents happen, particularly with young
children, so please don't worry, but do report them.

Check in is at 4.00 pm on the day of arrival and check out is
strictly by 11.00 am on the day of departure to allow for the changeover clean
for the next guest. Guests are welcome to use the main Butlins resort
facilities while waiting for the keys.
·
Changes to the booking once made, eg. additional guests/passes
added or changed or late bookings (booking made with less than 7 days’ notice)
will incur an administration fee of £20.00. (This is charged by Butlins).
·
No single gender large
groups or parties/stag or hen do’s. Sorry, but this is a Butlins rule.
·
If any caravan maintenance
or service is required, eg. smoke alarm batteries running out, light bulbs
requiring replacing, broken external pipes, gas boiler issues, electrical
faults, problems with water, eg. no running or hot water, etc. please report these
immediately to the Caravan Village Reception and a maintenance engineer will
address the issues for you.

No reimbursements will be
made for holidays cancelled less than 8 weeks prior to holiday start
date. Booking holding deposits are entirely non-refundable, in the event
of cancellation. All cancellations made in the period up to 8 weeks prior
to holiday start date will be refunded at 90% of the sum already paid to cover
my administrative costs.
·
Once you have paid in full
and I have confirmed all your guest details, you will receive your Butlins
Caravan Village Skegness booking confirmation through the post, no later than 2
weeks prior to your holiday start date (or via email if a late booking).
You will need to present this confirmation to the Caravan Village Reception to
exchange for your welcome pack, including caravan keys, passes into Butlins,
maps, guide, and entertainment schedule.

Check in
time is 4.00 pm on the day of arrival and check out is strictly 11.00
am on the day of departure. Please do not delay on checking out,
because you may get a knock by the cleaners if so. They will need access
to the caravan to clean down and confirm all ok for your security deposit
refund before the next guests arrive.
·
Any late bookings (less than
5 days) will incur a late administration fee of £20.00.
·
Any changes to bookings
already made, either in guests or check in times, will incur a £20.00
administration fee.
·
All these fees are charged
by Butlins to me and therefore have to be passed on to guests.
Finally, just to say that my
caravan is also my family holiday home. It
is loved very much and looked after well.
Please do treat the van and its contents with respect and care.
However, if there are any issues at all, please report to both me and the
Caravan Village Reception and we will both do our best to sort them out.
