These are solid MOSFET transistor amps.  Check out reviews of the MF100, the little brother to this MF300 that's still in production.  

Has provision for VU meter signal directly off the circuit board: 12V+, Ground, and meter signal.

I bought this for a subwoofer project I never finished building.  I ran it once from the bench (I soldered an RCA connector on it and wired it for 115VAC/60Hz per BK's instructions.  As new an example as you will find.

I can provide a photo of the green LED lit plugged in and perhaps a sound clip of it running with a preamp-out signal to an interested buyer.  Just message me.

You must connect it properly to the mains, input signal, speakers, etc.  If you are thinking of buying this, please know what you are doing!!
