You are looking at this very rare Alpine Alken MRH-850 radio, which dates back to the 1970's.

Made in japan, totally unusual and extravagant radio model. Online sources suggest it was a factory option for Honda Prelude (first model), and most likely, some other classics.

Comes in very good cosmetic condition, with some marks here and there - exactly as shown.

Illumination works (standard Alpine Green) - very hard to get it on camera, I gave it a try on the pic no 5) but definitely works.

Since it is the AM radio only,  it`s hard to test it here in Europe. However, there is a strong (really strong and loud) noise on each band, so I am quite sure that it works perfectly.

The switches are in order - to change the bands, simply rotate the main "ring", and for the fine tuning, pull it out, and start searching for the stations.

With wiring plugs - yellow for power / grey for the speaker pos/neg - as shown!
