This playbill was signed (in person, for me) on the stage of Manhattan Theatre Club’s NY City Center following a talkback moderated by 20/20 journalist Lynn Sherr with guest oceanographer Sylvia Earle and the playwright of The Explorers Club, Nell Benjamin.

As the play is about the difficulty of women getting access to the 19th century Explorers Club of London, having a real life female explorer and scientist on hand was a great blend of fact and fiction.

All three of their autographs are on the front of the playbill. It is not authenticated, but again this was signed in my presence and I’m only selling it from my personal collection to make space.

The play itself also featured Steven Boyer (a personal favorite from Hand to God) and Jennifer Westfeld (of Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder) as well as Carson Elrod, Brian Avers, Max Baker, Arnie Burton, David Furr, John McMartin and Lorenzo Pison
