This
is a Rare, Collectible Antique Flexible Single Coil Classic Bangle/Bracelet
detailing a Head of Snake with Gorgeous pair of Dark Red Ruby Eyes and has
beautiful Victorian Hand Engraved Snake Head and Tail; engraved on top and
Plain Highly polished underneath. The rest of the snake's body has a Single
Spring Coil band of the bangle.
The Bangle
is Crafted from Solid 9ct Yellow Gold and the head of the snake has Two
Natural, Genuine Dark Red Rubies for Eyes. Lovely Quality and Hugely Tactile
and a pleasure to wear.

VICTORIAN TIMES AND BECAME HUGELY FASHIONABLE IN THE 1920's DUE TO HOWARD
CARTER DISCOVERING THE TOMB OF TUTANKHAMUN IN 1922. DURING THE 1950's THERE WAS A HUGE REVIVAL IN
SNAKE JEWELLERY WHICH PEAKED DURING THE 1960's".
The
Bangle/Bracelet wraps nicely around the wrist and measures from Head to Tail
approximately 11.1/2 inches on the outer rim of bangle and 12mm at its widest
point (the Snake's Head). The Snake 's body coiled wire has a slightly oval
cross section which measures approximately 6mm wide and 5mm thick. The coil is
flexible and contains a steel spring to grip the wrist.
The Bangle/Bracelet has Full Hallmarks for 9ct Gold with PG. LD CROWN, 375, ANCHOR, H, and also stamped 'Steel Spring' under the snake's head.
