Peugeot Boxer Long wheelbase L4 camper

Grandchildren want to come with us now but it's really only suitable for single or couple use so we need to look for something more geared to us and two children.

The van is registered as a MOTOR CARAVAN with DVLA.

(Their words for camper van or motorhome!) THIS MAKES INSURING IT SIMPLE AND CHEAP. If a camper or motorhome is  not registered as motor caravan, and most conversions are not, insurers will ask for photos and other evidence, documents etc. before they will insure it.

Not so if it is registered correctly as motor caravan. THIS ONE IS.

It has minimal decals to fit in with its “stealth camping” use but obviously any decals of your choice could be added.

I was unable to load video up to Ebay, I think because of their size limit, but there is one here if you want to view it. Be patient though as it takes a few seconds to load and runs for over 3 minutes.

General

The van is a top of the range model with built in sat-nav, computer, electric windows and mirrors  Air-con is also fitted which works perfectly.

Cruise control and speed limiter - better than cruise control in my opinion - also fitted and working correctly.

Three large side windows which are darkened glass. This prevents seeing in whilst still providing excellent all round visibility from inside.

Electrics

12 volt spot lights in the ceiling with 2 brightness settings plus small mood light at base of cupboard unit

240 volt microwave

Television with HDMi input and boosted aerial.

240 volt/gas water heater .... Whale Expanse 8 litre

12/240 volt fridge (also runs on gas)

6 x 100amp leisure batteries

4000 watt max, 2000 watt continuous inverter

120 watt solar panel

Various ample 3 pin sockets with usb outlets

Change over switch from inverter to mains hookup

Heating

Diesel blower heater … very good at its job. Fuel pickup is set higher than the one for the engine so it can't run you out of diesel

2 x 400 watt 240 volt heaters

Water General

2 x 60 litre fresh water tanks (120 litres in total)

50 litre waste water tank – a requirement on most big sites - (can be emptied manually with outside tap or with inbuilt pump)

Whale expanse 8 litre gas/electric water heater

Sink and taps in kitchen

Separate Bathroom

Toilet

Sink and taps

Thermostatically controlled shower

2 drains in shower base to allow for uneven ground

Dining

Removable table which swivels 360 degrees to allow all round access

Sleeping

Double bed approximately 2000mm x 1200mm

Cooking

Microwave

Gas oven

2 x gas rings

Individual seats for driver and passenger. Passenger seat swivels to face the rear.

Awning

Everything is in working order and has had very little use in fact the seat/bed has brand new upholstery...there is what appears to be a white stain on the seat in the video but it is just a reflection from somewhere. The upholstery throughout is immaculate

The van itself drives great and all bodywork is in good condition apart from very small scrape on the plastic moulding at the driver side rear wheel arch. It is minimal and can be seen on the photo.

Paintwork is Volkswagen Starlight in great condition.

This camper has been designed to live off grid and the ample water, batteries, water heating, shower room and cooking facilities really do make this easy.

Really needs to be seen to be appreciated and any offer considered after viewing.
