Vase produced by Joanna Wason for Leach pottery.

Joanna has worked at Leach pottery since 1988 and still works part-time there today.

Between 1988-1997 Joanna worked as a studio assistant to Janet Leach who passed away in 1997.

Since then Joanna has written Janet’s biography from Papers given to her by Janet.

Joanna was clearly influenced by Janet in her lifetime and Joanna’s work is respected and collected.

This vase is undamaged and free from any chips, cracks or repairs.

It bears, both Joanna Wason’s impressed, personal Mark and the Mark for St Ives Leach Pottery.

Her work has changed and evolved over the years and so I would date this to 1997-2005 but you must make up your own mind.
