Huge and beautiful petzval brass lens by Ross London, this Cabinet n°3 is in well preserved condition.

Known for being one of best portrait lenses for 8x10in plates, ability for soft focus rendering by unscrewing rear elements.

Brass barrel is in good condition, body has a Waterhouse slot (one waterstop engraved 3.5 is included), R&P system works but focusing knob is missing (you can slide inner body manualy if you should).

Glasses are good with very slight cleaning marks and tiny dust.

Cemented front achromat doesn't show separation.

Rear two glasses are complete with screw fitting.

Lens hood and original mounting flange are included.
