This Copper Wen cash coin was issued under Chinese Emperor Qianlong-di (乾隆帝. 1735-1796 AD) in the East Turkestan, which was occupied by China.

It was issued in 1775-1795 AD in Ili Mint Factory (伊犁寶伊).   The Numista rarity index of Numista-317989, is "90".  The index of "90" is too high, I think.

Some green rust.

East Turkestan is loosely-defined geographical and historical region in Central Asia.  It referred to the Tarim Basin in the southwestern part of Xinjiang during the

Qing dynasty.  China from the Han dynasty to Tang dynasty had called an overlapping area the "Western Regions (西域)".  The domination of this region by China

started in the 18th century.  From the 20th century on, Uyghur separatists and their supporters reject the name of Xinjiang (新疆).

Qianlong Emperor (乾隆帝) was the fifth emperor of the Qing emperor to rule over China proper, reigning from 1735 to 1796.  The fourth son of Yongzheng Emperor

(雍正帝). In 1796, he abdicated in favor of his son, Jiaqing Emperor (嘉慶帝).  Despite his retirement, however, the Qianlong Emperor retained ultimate power, until

his death in 1799.  As a capable and cultured ruler inheriting a thriving empire, during his long reign, the Qing Empire reached its most splendid and prosperous era,

boasting a large population and economy.  As a military leader, he led military campaigns expanding the dynastic territory to the largest extent by conquering and

sometimes destroying Central Asian kingdoms.
