This is a COMPLETE 1955/56 4 1/2 GILBERT ERECTOR SET, best known as THE MOTORIZED SET. It will build hundreds of models from this one set. It has an A48 Mechanical wind-up motor. No electrical power needed! To my knowledge, it has never been used!! All the parts show not use. It has the ORIGINAL BLUE CRACKLE CARDBOARD INSERT. Manual is EXCELLENT.Has the ORIGINAL Blue string(never been unfurled), & flag.Stored since it was new . Manual is EXCELLENT CONDITION. Metal box nice & straight with just a small amount of corrosion on the top edge of the lid. This is from being stored so long. The original cardboard tray has a couple of small tares in the side uprights. (see photo). Don't think you will find a complete set at this price on ebay now. Questions?? Email for quick answers.
