How to Install:

• 1. Remove the wire and boot from each spark plug. Make sure the engine has cooled.
• 2. Disconnect the cables from the battery, black first then red wire(When install back, red first).
• 3. Remove the air filter cover and inner blue cover off along with air filter and pre-cleaner.
• 4. Remove 2 bolts to release the fuel pump.
• 5. Disconnect the regulator rectifier wire harness.
• 6. Release dipstick tube from bracket and pull it out of engine sump. Be care of oil to split out.
• 7. Release brackets holding the oil breather. Pull it out of the valve cover.
• 8. Remove the throttle control bracket and move bracket out.
• 9. Remove the grass shield and support ring.
• 10. Remove mounting screw to pull blower housing off.
• 11. Detach the grounding wire from ignition coil you wish to replace.
• 12. Remove 2 bolts securing coil, pull the oil coil out.
• 13. Install new coil. Rotate the fly wheel so the magnets align with the coil.
• 14. Insert a business card. Loosen the 2 bolts coil to correct distance from the flywheel.
• 15. Re-tighten bolts, remove card, attach the grounding wire. Reassemble every part back.
