"Warp and Woof" or "The Textile Art of Pan-Orient & the Method of Preservation"

"Warp and Woof" or "The Textile Art of Pan-Orient and the Method of Preservation"
The complementary 48 page book, published in 1901, written by K.M. Girogosian, manager of the Oriental Process Rug Renovating Co. of Boston, acknowledges the art of the oriental rug as an important tool of progress toward acquainting nations of the world with one another.
The book contains a glossary with proper pronunciation of the various rugs, which are generally names of countries, provinces, and cities of the Pan Orient. It continues with an explanation of the types of rugs and carpets, their manufacturing process and history, as well as a section on how to clean the rugs. Ending with testimonials, and ultimately an ad for "Reflecta" furniture polish, produced by the company itself.
Excellent condition! Pages seem to have a light gloss coating.
