SATSUMA SALT & PEPPER SHAKER SET
Amazing vintage Figural Satsuma Musical Gentlemen Salt & Pepper Shaker Set. This pair is indeed quality and decorated in a variety of bold rich colors and gold. They are heavy & exhibit great hand decorated detail. They stand about 3 1/8" tall and are a true set. Both are marked with Japanese character Kutani marks on their bases - see images. Wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs - they each have old tape residue on their base bottoms - see images. Made in Japan in the 1930's or so. Lucky Fortune Gods?
